I am a beat guy not a rapper, so anyone who spits would be interested to find out, but where has the energy gone and does it just go out like that? is this deliberate or like he has no fire anymore?
sometimes i question if we listening to the same artist. drake hasn’t rapped rapped since like 2014,

this is the same monotonous flow he used on 30/30 like over a decade ago.

like he’s just talking, same on the second half of 0-100 and Weston Road Flows etc etc

hasn’t had real energy in his raps since NWTS in my opinion

I, for one, welcome our new space overlords.
Seems like every bar he said you can point to his real life actions being lame in the same context, was kinda :ohhh: listening to it and realizing damn near everything that would usually sound fly from him got exposed as goofy behavior and delusions

Very easy to see through everything and it doesn't help he sounds and looks completely disassociated rapping it :manny:
That's the irretrievable damage Kendrick did to Drake's image. His whole vulnerable but cool act had a certain charm to it that females and feminine men couldn't resist. Even they lost interest.

He's really done :wow:

I don’t get the energy thing. This is how he raps on those long bar out songs. One of my fav Drake songs is “do not disturb” and it has a similar energy level. That’s how he raps on those type songs.
