I get what both of you are saying but I guess I'm used to beef being career on the line. Even the how bout now line doesn't feel like a diss because Ludacris was a star at the time so it makes sense for someone to react that way. And then Sean backed him up. It was also presented as the new school not being knowledgable about the old school as the Supa Dupa Flow wasn’t anything new at all and Luda exposed their lack of knowledge with his response.


It wasn’t a huge deal at the time but it was notable. Drake and Luda squashed it pretty quickly afterwards and Luda went on The Breakfast Club and said himself it was all over a girl and he didn’t even know she was messing with Drake at the same time he was messing with her.
