Before the beef and 2 years after his worst performing album, he was still the second highest streamed artist next to Drake, and that's with him releasing less music than other rappers with big numbers.


Its weird how people are shocked by these numbers, it's like people assume kendrick was some mid tier rapper before drake.

Kendrick had 70 million monthly listeners on Spotify before the beef. He was never far behind Drake numbers wise.

Anybody with a brain could see this coming. The album is trash. Gimmie a hug only got traction because he took some shots at Kendrick. The beats were mid and Aubrey's rapping was horrible. Nokia is dog shyt and it's getting clowned all over the internet...."babygurrrrrl".......maybe the corniest song ever released by a rapper. Everything else on the album is pure garbage. Nobody's playing this shyt. Give it another few weeks and this shyt will be completely forgotten.

And what makes it worse was that Drake treated his co-headliners as more of a “interlude.”

Drake would take up a majority of the show and 21 and/or Cole would come out and do a 20 min set. Then Drake would come out and they do their collab records and then they leave stage left while Drake closes the show solo.

They were treated as more of a “special guest” then as equals.

And it didn’t help that on his IG feed he would post more pics of himself on stage and rarely any pics of the other artist sharing the stage with him on some WTT shyt.

He treated them like a little brother…

I can see that with 21 but Cole should have known better to do that shyt.
