I'm really proud of Drizzy for admitting he uses ghostwriters.
Maybe now he'll feel free to move into the Diddy / Ye / Dre lane
Maybe now he'll feel free to move into the Diddy / Ye / Dre lane
I ain’t reading all that but as I said kanye has denied needing writers for a long time and didn’t credit writers. Drake has always credited any collaborators. And it’s factual he has written or other artists. A lot (including Ye)
I understand though. Clinging onto the writing stuff is the only way you can possibly try to discredit the boy now, nicca the rap game Thanos at this pointIf you’re a Drake hater just cling onto that. Ignore all the evidence of his writing acumen. It’s all QM and the tents
One thing you can’t deny anymore is the excellence
There’s some people who think Pusha wins no matter what. Rap fans have fickle, stubborn opinionsRap is so funny now lol. Pusha T is never beating Drake no matter what because ”Drake is more popular. Y’all do realize that right? Why try to make this shyt like Drake bodied Pusha when Drake wins no matter what?
But who takes i further and gets other people to do reference tracks? some of the best rappers of all time got help, I ain't hear a single one of them getting others to record reference track. Like ain't that being fukking lazy?who's saying that. but lets be reality. ALL these rappers have ghostwriters or collaborators. you think your favorite rapper is penning 100% of all their songs????
no one does that in ANY genre of music.
only difference is cats are finally admitting it.
NWTS, TC and IYRTITL all classic and resonates accross the world as that. Those albums can be performed in arenas front to backPutting the writing to the side, he hasn’t dropped a classic album, or anything close to it.
And he’s never dropped an album with just rapping.
I'm not copping any pleas at all. I'll go as far as saying fukk Drake. Just dont be a Ghostface dikk rider and come in here pointing fingers at Drake about Ghost writing like Superb didnt get paid for those bars Ghost threw in his mix. Thats all.![]()
I didn’t write that post to discredit Drake ‘s diss at all. I’m just saying there’s no way anybody is letting Drake lose to Pusha T.you can try and flip it however u want....but Drake's diss was good and definitely touched a nerve.....yes he is the more popular rapper but the popular rapper did indeed drop some sub par ether....and Im far from a Drake fan....
U right though and you see it....I didn’t write that post to discredit Drake ‘s diss at all. I’m just saying there’s no way anybody is letting Drake lose to Pusha T.
Why do you keep bringing up “everybody” else
Drake gets exposed for having a team of ghostwriters, he later admits to having ghostwriters, Push, Meek and others call him out for that and yet some of y’all Stans reply with “hey, EVERYONE has ghostwriters, people are jealous of Drake, please leave him alone” type shyt
You call Meek and Push “frauds” yet Aubrey grew up as a rich Canadian half breed who sharked damn near everybody’s style from different regions every year
You can’t make this up![]()
If you're ghostwriter or whoever is doing more than you in writing an album, that's just deplorable. The only verses we know were actually "ghostwritten" is the RICO verse and I'm Goin In
Quentin wrote for him on more than 2 songs, Starrah wrote for him on Fake Love, Young Thug wrote for him on Signs. And obviously everyone knows about Hush's contributions to TC and NWTS
When’s the last time anybody talked about Shether? This little diss called shether happened last year my guy
what the fukk are you talking about
Nope. Nothing.Other than the Quentin Miller verse stretched across two songs, is there anything else that Drake has made that's considered ghostwritten?
I bring up "everybody else" because if you've been paying attention to all the debates over the last 5 years or so since the QM references came out, you would have heard many veterans in the game come out and admit that everyone gets help with hooks, lines, and verses from time to time.
D-Dot damn near had a heart attack on Drink Champs recently arguing with the whole table about how much nikkas got "help" back in the day.
And yes, I'm calling Meek and Push frauds because it's a known fact that neither one of them nikkas was living the lives they rap about before rap.
They are rap nikkas that were around nikkas who lived the lives they rap about.
I live 20 minutes from where Push and Malice grew up and I'm out the Beach damn near everyday.
They are SUBURBAN kids.
There is one hood in VA Beach, Atlantis, where Pharrell grew up.
The rest of that shyt is nothing but big houses, mansions, beach houses, and tree lined cul-de-sacs with manicured lawns.
As far as Meek goes, Beans and AR-AB have both spoke on the fact that Meek was just a kid who rapped and never lived nothing close to street life he portrays in his raps before he got on.
