There is only one song "ghostwritten" and it was Rico.. and how was that song diffrent then what he did with "practice" and "worst behaviour".. only difference is you dont know the song hes using to model the verse from...

nikkas like to bring up the quentin shyt but drake literally has a verse he stole where he changed nothing but a few words.. and he got sued for it... but he collabs with quentin and yall lose your minds...:ohhh::mjlol:

My point? Drake is a tracer. Who ocassionly will make something original... but his best work comes copying/modifying other peoples work
:yeshrug:

He can hang with other mcees but to them he isnt a real artist:mjcry::troll:

Drake is a real artist, he’s a singer. 98% of rappers are stuck in a box musically because that’s the only genre they can manage...

Snoop did a gospel and reggae album.. he’s apart of the 2% because he can go outside that rap box.. Drake is the same that’s why mofos hate him, he can move in different genres of music seamlessly

If this Duppy Freestyle hit the top 100 and goes #1, then Ain’t no coming back for Malice...

Drake figured out if he gonna diss you he gonna make it a single that will be on constant repeat where it’s getting mainstream radio play...
Thing is, it wasn't released as a single..

It's still not on Apple Music (and I'm assuming none of the other streaming services) for some reason... which strikes me as weird... I'd guess sample clearance issues because of the speed the shyt was made and put out, they didn't have time to clear shyt

Or maybe he got another Back 2 Back in the cut and is waiting to give that one the single treatment

NYC black coffee tough guys aka the Stoozy Boys
So Budden came and went, literally no one cared about his 1000+ bar retort.
Meek done ethered himself with how bad the destruction came, I know he's thinking to himself "Damn, I should've shut the fukk up...we could've made Rico 2"
and now Pusha was hit with the Tombstone Piledriver R.I.P.

That's a 3 Peat. All by the "singing nikka".

Yeah, I thought that was weird to.

Pulling up that vid, linked me to the Vlad interview where Drake got the "it was your cousin, then your brother, then you" line.

In the first part, Malice goes into how their cousins were the real dudes in the area and how they got on from being related to them.

Later, he also admits they were never nothing like kingpins, but due to the success of Grindin, they got "pigeon holed" into the whole coke rap wave.

Him speaking about that "certain lingo" is what drew me to them in the first place.

Listening to them back then, and being a nikka that was playing around with a lil coke myself at the time, I thought these dudes were super official.

Especially when I heard this shyt...

and this...

After I did my lil research, hoping to find just one nikka from the Southside that could vouch for these dudes, i came away very disappointed.

Malice seems legit transformed as a person compared to his rapper persona... It's kinda wild comparing him to say Mase, where he's the same fukking guy he always was and the religious shyt is obviously a ruse... anybody know what happened exactly that was the impetus for it.. was it their big homie getting booked and snitching?

Surprising honesty in these interviews

Malice wrote a book..

Basically his family life falling to pieces, financial issues, cars getting repo'd etc, an AIDS scare....In interviews he also talks about Geezy getting knocked, and him being godfather to his daughter and how that started to weigh on him with regard to the shyt they were talking about on songs.
