Why are people rushing for Meek Mill to respond as if his career is on the line? Hov released Takeover at Summer Jam '01 and the verse dissing Nas was released on Sept. 11 when The Blueprint dropped. Nas didn't respond with Ether until 3 months later on December 4th.

Yea, IMO a lot of the battles that have taken place since Nas and J have been gimmicky plots for sales and attention. Here u have two going for the top spot TRULY...they each represent two heavy but different audiences in the game...plus the Integrity of hip hop is sort of involved. We may not respect theses artists like Rakim and Kane, but the youth today see it that way...actually name me a serious beef since Nas and J...and not and of 50's shenanigans
