Regardless of if he even wrote this or not :lolbron:, I gotta give Drake props for showing way more heart than Meek in just dropping this shyt. He didn't even have to at this point due to the Meek self-ether but damn. :wow:

There's a lot of ammo that meek can use.

He started it. He has to finish it or he doesn't. His legacy is on the line.
you remember that immediate apology? you think he did that on his own will? I kind of think he was somehow forced to do that. I believe his career was already on the line as soon as he dropped those exposal tweets :manny:

First, bro...I don't hate Drake and I'm usually indifferent about Meek. I just don't see how anyone can find anything really special about this track and especially about the Charged Up track. What is so "grade ether" about this? Elaborate. After the first listen, and after getting all the yucks yucks about Nicki being the boss in the relationship...what is so etherous about this sh!t? Does this sh!t really warrant 10 :damn: gifs, breh? Be honest with yourself. It was an ok track and I guarantee you won't be mentioning this sh!t in a few weeks. But I expected that response tho. The Coli always overreacts when a diss track is released. I expected those type of posts and the memes and the tweets. Sh!t is holding true to form.

Bro you know this track had more damaging lines in it than the previous song. We can talk all we want about how he is not saying a name as if old school emcees didn't also diss subliminal(ie: Rakim dissing LL with subs.

)For the record Billy keep in mind I agreed with your thread the other day about Drake shouldn't be considered the best emcee because of ghostwriter on 5/6 of the songs on this past mixtape/album

as for the record itself i see what your coming from...production wise it is nothing special but i think the main issue is the production. the lines itself in the track you may not be impressed by either(which i personally am) but I can bet the lines bother Meek's ego and he can deny it all he want.

he is gonna try to play it off but those lines are gonna get in his psyche. especially since he WOKE up to this and like Joe Budden said its worse when you wake up to bad news.

False :snoop:

ether

Takeover

Hit em up

Are all classic diss tracks that will remain hip hop pillars for diss tracks. They will never die

And you're wrong about disses not doing damage. "Ether" had Jay visually frazzled. Why can't you accept that some people don't find drakes diss that fire :what:

Play songs like Jay died. Jay crying on the radio. Supa ugly cause he was hurt. Made Jay drop a double album in blueprint and admit defeat on it.

But they had a personal relationship. Classic diss have been personal relationship/dirt. Meek and Drake didn't come up together or worked together on the same label. They only playing the dozens at best.

Drop the damn track Meek :damn:

Then shoot the video in NWA gear. Perfect promo for the movie plus you would be paying homage to hard core rap. Shyt would get millions of spins and be backed by Hollywood muscle.

It's over. We lost the game years ago and now we're seeing the end of it. But its cool we will just have a new genre like we did after jazz, rock etc.
It's definitely not over...if anything it's going to ensure nikkas are writing they're shyt...I'm noticing nikkas already mentioning how they write they own shyt just for the nod, Drake is gonna ensure he writes his own shyt from now on(or at least doesn't get found out)hip hop rules are in effect...deez nikkas know:russ:

People keep saying Drake is the only one rapping as if this nikka Meek don't got the powers that be at his neck right now. Its obvious Flex got clamped on regarding the reference tracks. Meek probably getting blackballed like crazy. Y'all think its so black n white. Drake literally got this platform tailor made for him. He can have QM write his diss tracks, premiere them on Apple Radio while the whole game sucks his dikk oft while his lawyers flex on Flex. Meek don't got it like that. Its not required to drop a diss less than a week after one has been dropped against you. Also lets not forget, Meek writes his shyt and came up in the streets rapping. He can still be in the streets, his Day 1's still rock with him. He went from being a hood, grimy fukk to banging Nicki. He came up for real even tho his rapping is average. Drake is a literal fraud and some of y'all idolize him. Pathetic.
nikka i dont got sympathy for no man tht let his emotions get him in a situation his bars cant get him out of. fukk all that

And the catalyst of this was Meek revealing that Drake submitted a verse that he didn't write.

Twilight Zone shyt.

Breh, this is hip hop. Meek started a beef and has yet to respond :heh:

Like I said, Drake is a soft fraud, and he Meek is LOSING to him in a beef he started :dead:

Meek was in Drakes home town with fukk you in big bright lights and didn't drop a single bar. Stop it. He getting washed right now. How you gonna diss a nikka as a rapper and have 0 bars ready :dahell:

black nikkas might've started Jazz and Rock, etc too but this rap shyt is different fam. This became an entire culture for nikkas and now its slippin hard. Its not just that Drake is a fraud - he a grown man, if he has to make $$$ using writers so be it - its all the people giving him a pass for it. The good thing about rap is that it could police itself to an extent. The fans can make their voices heard we saw that with Ja Rule literally getting taken out the game. Now u got white people gassed up all trying to act hard because they live vicariously through Drizy. Drake aint the first fake nikka in rap but he the first to be givin a full pass for it.

Meek was the ONLY one with the balls to speak up on this shyt.
