Drake is the most powerful artist in hip hop outside of Jay. So many people have money invested in him,that you cant negatively attack his brand without some type of repercussion.

It wasn't organic though that's why the Nas win was spectacular. New York radio didn't even play H to the Izzo. They gon play whatever Meek drop. Plus Hot 97 had a radio show called "the takeover." Not only that but Jay dropped blueprint unplugged the same day as stillmatic to fukk it up. Jay used ALL his industry leverage. That's Mr. Illmatic though.
