nas dropped ether like 6 months later.

meanwhile, meek was forced to rush out an unfinished track within 6 hours while on tour. and then told that its over, while being ambushed by the hardest rap crew in the game.
He started it so those excuses do not apply. He wrongly assumed Drake was going to be too cool to respond and got rocked with a haymaker. Live with it.

no one forced Meek to do shyt.

Drake did two tracks that bang in the same amount of time

NAS vs Jay was a completely different time with both diss tracks being B Side singles to an actual album. Also the internet wasn't a thing. Napster was the best thing out and iTunes didn't even exist. Months between diss tracks where common.

Meek started all this shyt. He should've been on point before he hit send.

lol @ the bolded. dudes dont even waste time revising history on here now i see.

the internet was indeed a thing back during nas/jay. and diss tracks generally were taking 6 months to drop back then either. keep in mind, this is when state p & dblock were going at it. and yes, the internet WAS INDEED a thing. just because you didnt have it, doesnt mean it wasnt a thing.

meek didnt start it. drake started it by hopping on his song with a ghostwriter. there shouldnt have even been a "battle" drake shouldve been shunned. instead he was allowed homecourt and granted the rights to dictate the rules.

lol @ drake droppin 2 tracks that bang. even if you like "back to back", theres no way you can vouch for "charged up".

Lol this nikka is a fukk boi, drake does not need ghost writers and meek got ethered, charged up was a warning shot. That makes drake a smart nikka. He even gave meek a chance to backout.

If you listen to the lyrics of charged up, it isn't whack.

These new rules, you emotional cats keep bringing are funny. Shunned by who?

Was just about to post this. Army heads were but nikkas around the way weren't. That was the Blackplanet era and it was rare to find cats around the way who fukked with Blackplanet like that. Nikkas was still fuking with magazines , radio and bootleg cds. Myspace is when they started popping their heads out and facebook is when the wave took over.

i had it. real nikka right here.:myman: chit, i got put onto sohh in 2001 by a ninja from west philly.

and i know plenty of real and/or street dudes that had internet. even if it was some behind-the-times slow chit. it wasnt as widespread to the point where everybody had it but alot of people had it.

think about it breh. why do you think people were stealing things like those AOL free hours discs out of magazine aisles in hoods across america? people werent doing that for sport.

burners were extremely rare tho. at least in urban areas.

he premiered takeover at summer jam in june. thats 6 months.

either way, thats still a long ass time compared to a guy being forced to drop a track in mere days while on tour.
