If we want to be 100% factual. Drake has the corporate machine backing him. He's been an industry plant since day one. He's part Jewish. I mean, lets keep it 100% reality. Even when Meek responds it will get NO PLAY on most "hip-hop" stations. Yeah, the New York stations will give it a few spins. Philly will back him. But nobody else. They are white owned businesses.
It sound to me like we have way more cacs in the booth than I would have ever guessed. They are fine with white people dictating hip-hop.![]()
There's nothing to address... he's basically admitting he does use ghostwriters. People gotta decide on their own whether they are gonna accept it or not![]()
You say that like it's not common.Meek never accused him of having a ghostwriter but he did accuse him of submitting verses that he didn't write, there's a clear distinction but either way, ghost or not, another man has written lyrics for Drake, that's a fact.
Like budden said drake made a diss record bytches can twerk toIf this is a dis record, the ga!e really done changed.
A dis record is supposed to amp you up, this song was soft to me. The beat was not hard at all. People are just amped cause Drake called names, bit the actual song is weak.
If meek comes with a real dis record, this shyt is over.
I forgot about Drake's 8 bar verse so I guess you right. But it was a whole 8 bar verse Quentin wrote. You can't give Drake credit for changing lines he was forced to change (checks all over me you know I'm 1317).Half the song?
It was literally a hook and 6 lines![]()
and if u do accept it ur a drake/pop-rap fan.
thats not hip hop.![]()
it's a bunch of Black people in here on that same wave,
"what's the big deal if someone wrote for Drake, it's in the credits"
"people write for Beyonce and Rihanna and it's not a problem"
basically any excuse that makes it acceptable for anti hip-hop behavior to be considered "hip hop"
this shyt is hip-pop and Meek shouldn't respond with a track, if I were him I'd make an IG video saying "I'm flattered by the 2 tracks but I wasn't tryna battle at all, just letting nikkas know that I got scammed by a nikka who sent me a verse he didn't write"
