Giving game to lames since the 90s
Way 2 Sexy easily his worst album single. I’m speaking strictly quality, it may go on to do good numbers but even Future was mid on this and Young Thug was forgettable
We’ll see. I think a lot of the Kendrick discourse going on right now is not only wack it’s disrespectful to him as an artist. The man released a statement that basically said “I’m not tuned into the world, I’ve lost friends/family members to death, and btw this is my last TDE album but I have something to say.” Nothing about it gave me the frat bro “dude Kendrick is gonna diss everybody and destroy their careers bro” reaction I’m seeing. Not just from white people…Joe Budden has been saying it more than anyone. This mid CLB release just gave Kendrick the easy layup to win the year.
That’s a Jay influenced lineWait. "I HAD A RICHARD PRIOR/PRYOR TO THESE nikkaS, THATS THE JOKE"
holy shyt
yall not realizing all the industry vets giving props?
Craig David was a pretty big time R&B artist but dude could spitCan you fill me in on that opinion?

I think he’s gonna drop a deeply personal, reflective album and either fail to match Humble or simply not try. Either way point is while I’m sure he will go for something big enough to tour arenas again, its not gonna be DAMN 2.0 and its gonna instead be some dark depressing shyt.
He’s not competing with these dudes, he’s playing another game entirely.

It didn't come from Kendrick's statement, but from his feature on Keem's track. No subliminals, he made it loud and clear:
- Smoking on your top 5
- 2021 ain't taking no prisoner, who went platinum, I call that a visitor
- fukk that album, fukk that single, burn that harddrive, ain't nobody safe when I come killing everybody that's outside
- One daughter, but you're all my sons in this bytch
So while I agree with you that with the new album he's playing another game entirely, he is definitely coming for everybody's necks too.
