TSU gonna have me boogiein until I get too creept out by the lyrics

As a whole very good album, smooth listen. Drake sounds sharp as ever, writing still improving, production still very immaculate. I’m still feeling like we’re waiting for Drake to tap into that next notch but he’s just not there yet.

Album is on par with his past ones imo. I have no idea what’s gonna be the hits and last singles off this but I think it’s better comprehensively than Scorpion.

He still has a lot of room to grow but unless you’re truly invest into his personal life, rumors, and never accept the fact that you’re aging I don’t think this is going to get that much spin.

And he released it at the end of the summer :scust: Drake was supposed to have them covid cases goin up!!! :damn:

Told you.

CHECKMATE.

UPDATE: Following Drake’s leak of Kanye West’s “Life of the Party,” Andre 3000 issued the following statement regarding his role on what became a diss track: “A few weeks ago Kanye reached out about me being a part of the Donda album. I was inspired by his idea to make a musical tribute to his mom. It felt appropriate to me to support the Donda concept by referencing my own mother, who passed away in 2013. We both share that loss. I thought it was a beautiful choice to make a clean album but, unfortunately, I didn’t know that was the plan before I wrote and recorded my verse. It was clear to me that an edited ‘clean’ format of the verse would not work without having the raw, original also available. So, sadly, I had to be omitted from the original album release.

The track I received and wrote to didn’t have the diss verse on it and we were hoping to make a more focused offering for the Donda album but I guess things happen like they are supposed to. It’s unfortunate that it was released in this way and two artists that I love are going back and forth. I wanted to be on Certified Lover Boy too. I just want to work with people that inspire me. Hopefully I can work with Kendrick on his album. I’d love to work with Lil’ Baby, Tyler and Jay-Z. I respect them all.”

Even ANDRE 3000 had to admit Drake swiped this shyt

Fountains is the only objectively good song on this record. Partynextdoor wrote this song well

My Favorite Songs

Champagne Poetry - Probably the best song on the album....shyt is flawless..
Papi's Home
Love All......this would've been better with a different feature other than Hov..... 3 Stacks would've ate this...
Fair Trade
Way 2 Sexy - Song is catchy as hell
N 2 Deep - I actually like how he flipped the Get Throwed.... I don't care for the second half of this song...
No Friends in the Industry
7AM on Bridle Path - This is one of the weaker AM/PM songs to me but it's still dope...

Takin the album in now. My opinions might be skewed because I'm drankin remy right now, but 1st 3 tracks are cool to me. That alone puts it over Kanye's joint. I just didnt feel that joint YET.

Papi's home gives me NWTS vibes, which is a good thing

I’m in here arguing with nikkas about J Cole when Drake is putting songs like this together…smh

only Drake can give us this type of vibe
Even nikkaz that dont like Drake got those Drake songs they like. Dont let brehs fool you:pachaha:

I aint even the biggest Drake fan(i am a fan though), but I can EASILY make a playlist of songs he is on that is insane.

That's why he sells so well at the end of the day...he focuses on pretty much every demographic possible at once. I may not like some songs but they aren't for me :yeshrug:

As far as the haters are concerned, why should he try to appease them? They're slamming him on every critical site out there but they still listened to him making him sell 600k plus units. So ultimately he won
