What has Drake done to deserve the benefit of the doubt?

Nothing it’s just with all the clout chasers, and obsessed fanbases in general these days. I think it’s a valid question to ask ourselves was it recorded afterwards to make him look bad/worse, or for the “leakers” to gain followers for a week? (Or just flat out it’s real).

Damage has already been done anyway. People are always going to question Drake’s pen whether he wrote it or not. We could never be 100% sure after the og quinten miller leaks.

Someone tried to say swimming pools had a reference track, and damn near nobody believed it. Because people every once in a while won’t troll, or play dumb. It was obvious some Drake fans that cooked it up because they heard about the Drake leaks.


Drake had a couple leaks this week and it was more believable because it’s happened many times before. And some of the biggest ones has been confirmed to be real (even by Ak of all people). I would say a fair amount of people don’t give him the benefit of the doubt. Die hard fans, and even some casual fans of his will. Because either they truly don’t care (wouldn’t care if it was anyone else did either), or they’re obsessed with Drake and feel the need to defend him.

Maybe if people weren't already hinting at Hush being one of his writers for AGES now, before the beef or the fallout from it.

Dude was hiding his son so he could use him for an Adidas roll out, this is not the guy to suspend your disbelief for, he already showed everyone he will bold face lie until receipts are dragged out. The weaker his status is, the more people he stepped on will be able to pop out without worrying about smoke, that's what we're seeing rn.

To me it's not about the benefit of the doubt. It's that his previous reference leaks have followed a pattern where we recognize who is recording them. With this one...who is this nikka lol? It sounds like some random dude to me, which is why I think it's fake.

I def think some of the timestamp records have been written by other people. I just don't think this one is real.
