All the quests I have left are in the city. I wanna fight something :damn:

For the masquerade quest do you really need to buy those 150k threads or is there a cheaper alternative?

The “box” quest, and there’s a lot of free stuff in the nobles houses. I actually found the soldier’s armor in a sewer pipe, used that to sneak into the building where the party was, wandered around and found some masquerade clothes. There’s a bunch of random opportunities for free outfits for the party.

The first game was also over 10 years ago, gameplay has evolved since them...and tbh lock on is a ps1 festure.
nikka lock on isn't in the game ON PURPOSE. Like I said before GET GOOD bruh learn how to aim and position yourself properly. I swear some of the complaints I hear about this game(no lock on, lack of fast travel, etc.) scream of casuals who want their hand held. This is an old school game it doesn't hold your hand and it's actually challenging.

I've been playing Archer exclusively since Ranger was my favorite class in the first game and my pawn has been a Mage. I hate this game so far.

Vocation complaints
- Hunter class in DDO had a backflip to avoid damage since it lost the dodge roll due to not having access to the daggers anymore. Archer has no defensive maneuvers.
- Archer has no Fivefold/Tenfold flurry, Endecad shot, or Fracture dart.
- Don't appreciate certain skills tied to special arrows instead of just equipping them as you did in 1.

- Mage can't enchant Holy anymore
- 4 skills suck for the Mage. but people who mained Mage/Sorcerer in 1 have told me Sorcerer got nerfed big time. Can't enchant weapons at all, and the scope of its spells have been scaled back, so now I don't wanna upgrade my pawn to Sorcerer.

Combat complaints
-Can't cancel out of animations which makes the game feel slower than 1.
- Loss gauge is bullshyt,
- Enemy tracking is retarded. There have been countless times I ran a few feet away and still got hit like I was standing right in front them, felt like I was playing Tekken 7.

Non-Combat complaints
- Weightless, floaty movement. Traversing the environment feels like ass, one of the things I liked to do in the DD1 was hopping rooftops in Gran Soren. I tried that in 2 and was sliding off onto the ground.
-The UI is annoying. Can't send stuff to storage when I'm buying from vendors. When I'm at an inn putting stuff into storage sometimes 1 or more of my pawns is blanked out in the menu and I'm confused until I step outside and they're just lingering around. The game doesn't register them as present in your party unless they're right beside you.

Things I do like
- Jumping off of fools with the punt kick and shooting them in the face never gets old.
- Oxcart rides are relaxing
- Camping and I love the cutscene for cooking the meat , shyt is hilarious :pachaha: Had me doing a double take the first time I saw it.

Only thing this game is lacking imo is more biomes and enemy variety, everything else (outside of performance issues) is a 10/10

I dare say there are aspects of the combat i like more than elden ring. I hope they do a story DLC for this

I'm loving this game so far. But I hope this game supports 60FPs.

By the way, I wonder if could you command your main loyal mage pawn to cast fire spell at the enemy?
