Had to change a few things for my liking to match DD1

I need the skill set in rb/r1....NOT L1

Turned off Auto sheath weapon, absolutely not. Imma strike fear into civilians with my daggers out when I good and god damn please :birdman:

Really hate I can't move the character menu to the select button and the map to start :aicmon:

Just installed dogma 2 on pc wish me luck my 4090 should handle it right the frame rates complaints got me nervous :lupe:

man I have not even started rebirth.... on ps5

my backlog going back to 2022 no lie is looking at me like this :why:

You're good on frame rate. The only crazy dip I've had so far is yes, in the capital city. I'm talking 40-60 fps with DLSS on. What's wild is the GPU Util drops to around 60%, but the CPU util increases to round 30%. Still got plenty of headroom left on the CPU, so it's probably the NPC thing like they said.

Overall Impressions so far:
  • Gameplay is excellent. The amount of nuance and little touches they've included in the combat is topnotch. Pawns operate near-autonomously.; some battles you don't even have to fight. Speaking of pawns, something that happens while you're fleeing with them is hilarious. Combat is on point even without autolock
  • The visuals are near-Horizon level, just with a limited palette. Lighting affects are crazy. Reminds me of Ghost of Tsushima
  • The story so far has been done numerous times before, but I'm still into it
9/10 Point off for performance

Tip: If you're traveling at night with underlvl'd pawns you mineswell just run to the nearest town. I died like crazy. My last load, I had such low health I had to end up just hauling ass past enemies to the capital. Something that happened after one of them got knocked out had me loling. won't spoil it.

It's gonna take some time to learn the ins and outs of this but I'm intrigued so far.

I was expecting worse from the performance but thus far on PS5 it hasn't been noticeably bad for me after 2 hours :ehh:

PC brehs ,supposedly there is a framegen mod that doubles your FPS that free to download

Already subbed to his Patreon, been clutch with other games. The only thing is that you have to be using a 40 series Nvidia card to utilize Frame Generation, good thing i have a 4080.

One thing about working overseas, it was a 7am launch time over here and got the day off :whew:

Been at it 6 hours and just now taking an afternoon break

Game is mad fun :ehh: never played DD1 but i get why yall were emphasizing the pawn system

Combat reminds me of a much more robust/refined monster hunter

And it's very customizable with weapons, gear and vocation paths, almost overwhelmingly so. It's easy enough to stack bread and exp to buy the latest ish but they stay teasin you with that new expensive ish to grind or sidequest for.

If that's the only one in a game which was marketed as having little to no fast travel:manny:
That’s not the only one, apparently you need to pay to edit characters again and other stuff. Personally I don’t really care about the micro transactions unless it is really impacting your experience. The internet has zero tolerance though so you can see why there are so many negative reviews on steam.
