I did hear that there is an ongoing power struggle between Shueisha (manga publication company) and Akio Iyoku (Toriyama's right hand man) over the franchise's IP rights. Gotta wonder how much that will stall things

I saw a tweet that says it is a Buu saga follow up and that future Dragonball arcs will reference these events

This is Akira Toriyama's last Anime. Day 1 for sure. Also the animation looks dope. I wonder if the 20 Episodes are going to be the entire series or is that just the 1st season. "GT" only had 65 Total episodes but they stretched it out over a year. I'm not holding my breathe for a "Super" continuation in anime, seems they are keeping strictly Manga right now.
