2) It's best not to get him involved, especially now that Moro has Merus power. It was just further complicate things.
Honestly, Goku beating Moro at this point would throw the natural pecking order of things into disarray. Merus is an Angel. Neither Goku nor Beerus can beat him. So if Moro has the powers of Merus, they shouldn't be able to beat him either. Goku beating Moro w/angel powers would basically put him above Beerus, and it's still too early for Goku to surpass him

it's a damn shame that like many have said Moro's threat became less about his magic abilities and more so about combat. Vegeta learned abilities to combat the magic and Goku had UI. They both could have just complimented each other since realistic how I see it, speed/auto reaction should not be able to overcome Moro's magic abilities regardless.
Vegeta should have played a huge role in this final battle even if he wasn't gonna get the final attack on Moro.
i'd like beerus to do something once in a while, it may be anticlimactic and lessen danger if he one shots but still do something. In this case he technically would be the winner though, because it's Goku who landed them in this situation in the first place. Kinda like how Goku didn't kill Frieza on Namek, but everyone gives him the W for that even though it was Future Trunks who killed him. And at this rate, it's either Bulma gets all of the Dragon Balls and wishes all of humanity on Namek while Goku finishes Moro off and somehow gets off the planet in time (this sounds familiar
) OR Vegeta comes back right in the nick of time and drains Moro or at least separates him from Earth. It's gonna have to be Vegeta that saves the day here, because any other option is going to come at an extremely high price. Buu/Grand Supreme Kai can't use the sealing technique that captured Moro all of those years ago because Buu ended up absorbing him. When Buu was split into both Good and Evil, Good Buu took the appearance of the Grand Supreme Kai, whereas the Evil Buu had taken his power. And since Evil Buu was deepsixed...
It's really odd yall want goku to go completely against a character trait he has had since z..
If a villain needs to be executed GOKU is not the character for that, he's going to give them a chance... That line is grey is it because he thinks everyone deserves a second chance or if its because he just wants to more opponents? The answer is probably somewhere in the middle.
Anyway moro would have powered up after grabbing his arm even without the senzu been, so I feel like that was more to keep goku in character.
