But Vegeta isn’t stronger than Goku. The last two chapters show this clearly.

Vegeta would be able to strip away Goku’s spirit bomb. That’s it. Goku doesn’t use borrowed or stolen power for any other moves.
It’s implied Vegeta is also able to un-fuse people as well.
You ever watched Dragonball breh? Every damn win Goku's gotten since OG Frieza, cannon, Z, Super, or not, almost always involves him either sucking energy from someone or fusing with Vegeta to get it done:Cell: Has to combine his final Kamehameha with Gohan's to finish him off
Buu: Needs to fuse with Vegeta just to stand a chance against Kid Buu, then after he still loses has to steal the energy of literally every human being on Earth to finish him off
OG Broly: Has to steal all the Z fighters energy to deal the final blow
Super Broly: Needs to fuse with Vegeta to beat him
Fused Zamasu: Fusion again... and still loses, leaving Trunks to steal energy in his place by making his sword a pseudo Spirit Bomb to finish him off
Jiren: Gets his ass kicked until Vegeta sends him energy as he's falling out of the ring... still needs to triple team with Frieza and 17 for the win
Janemba: More Fusion
Beerus: Needs 5 or whatever other Saiyans to give him the power of a literal god... just to get his ass kicked per usual
