Super really wrote themselves into a corner when they introduced the Gods and Angels.

I was thinking about how Frieza, The Androids, Cell, and even Buu were threatening and it was because there was nobody else that could challenge them. The Z Fighters were humanity's last hope.

Now you have the most powerful beings in the universe coaching the Z Fighters. There's no stakes anymore.

Until a villain bodies a GoD or an Angel there will never be a true threat.

I'm pretty sure there was a Hakkaishin and a kaioshin that went rogue and got sealed up or something. But they weren't connected. So that's how you have the situation you have now where if a kaioshin (or all of them) dies then the hakkaishin dies too and the angel goes to sleep until the next ones are born.

one idea posed on a different forum was that buu could absorb vegeta and goku. my thought in general was this move is so potent, it would've invalidated 90% of the series after the Saiyan Saga.

This battle obviously wasn't going to conclude the arc this soon, you knew it going in. Vegeta defeated Moro, forced him to retreat and recreate himself, and now looks to be key going forward. Hell, the man revived the Namekians & reversed the damage done this entire arc for anyone capable of being saved which is more than anyone else.

He did learn he was willing to let Jaco decide what to do with him. Saiyan Saga to Majin Buu Saga Vegeta might have just killed him.... Realistically what cost him the fight was not mastering Instant Transmission because it was “Kakarot’s technique”. When Moro tried to escape he should have used instant transmission and finished him off

He can disrupt absorptions, take back stolen energy, and undo any type of fusion.
