First fight Goku admitted vegeta gave him that work which he did. Now the second one I’ll give you that
Vegeta had to turn into a 50 foot monster that he uses to take down civilizations just to defeat one dude. Even he considers that an L.

And I gotta laugh every time people count the Majin fight. Goku hid a whole ass transformation and Vegeta KO'd him so he wouldn't try to stop him from fighting Buu alone. Even said "We'll have to resume this fight in the afterlife"

Let’s continue down that same path of logic on Goku’s end. He had to ignore King Kai’s warnings and overused kioken just to fight him. Which in turn left him even more vulnerable to ozaru Vegeta do to strain kioken put on his body. :sas1:
As for the 2nd fight Goku not going ssj3 is his own fault. But also let’s not act like your trying to move the goal post for kakarot :mjlol: on one hand your saying Vegeta didn’t win the 1st fight because he had to pull out ozaru but at the same time saying he should used ssj 3 to easily beat Vegeta:sas2: . So Vegeta was wrong for using his trump card in the 1st fight, but yrs later Goku holding back and letting his guard down which led to him being knock unconscious is somehow a moral victory for kakarot also :unimpressed:.

They don't hear you though. :wow:

Vegeta dusted Goku and then had to deal with several other people buying time for him or trying to avenge him.

The same energy would not be kept if Vegeta held back the Great Ape form against Goku and got knocked the fukk out.

Two different scenarios and not acknowledging that is being obtuse. There wasn't a boss level threat after Goatku on earth when Vegeta had to use his ape form.

Meanwhile a Kai with more stature than King Kai is telling Goatku that Majin Buu is the worst thing yet. Because Goatku didn't listen the last time about Frieza and how powerful he was, he had to find out and also because he didn't want his friends to die. His best wasn't enough but he made sure ever since turning SSJ that he would always have a leg up on his opponents. Through ability, skill, planning or transformation, Goatku has always been able to win.

No surprise from Vegeta, letting Cell attain perfection and not having another level to go to in fighting him. He got bodied. Beat Goatku in the same way Gohan did to Trunks and had to kill himself to get rid of the shame of being beaten by pink play dough. Shame those 7 years he never leveled up in the mentality department.

None of what you said was even remotely relevant to what I stated previously. At the time of the Saiyan Saga Vegeta was the biggest threat they had faced to that point. Regardless of the mental gymnastics you want to use he couldn’t beat Vegeta in their 1st fight without using kioken which in turn left him even more vulnerable when he body finally broke down. It took kioken, Krillian, Gohan, and Yajirobi, ozaru Gohan, and a spirit bomb to defeat him. Mentioning Grand Kia in relation to King Kai warning of using kioken means nothing because A) Goku didn’t use kioken during his fight with Majin Vegeta or Buu :skip:
B) had he of used ssj3 off the rip he could have possibly stopped Buu from being awakened by quickly dealing with Vegeta and then dealing with Dabora since Gohan was too:flabbynsick:. C) or just finished Buu off using ssj3 instead of leaving that responsibility in the hands of a 6 & 7 yr using fusion.
Now since you irrelevantly brought up Vegeta allowing Cell to become perfect let’s excuse Goku for giving Cell a senzu bean or Krillin simping #18 :sas2: Had he just pushed the button Vegeta would have never gotten the chance to help Cell become perfect.

now back to original statement Goku never beat Vegeta. Him holding back in the 2nd fight is his own fault for taking that L. Just like Vegeta toying with Cell instead of finishing him off was his own fault :yeshrug:
