According to Dragonball Online, which takes place 216 years after Goku started training Uub, Goku and Vegeta had their 3rd and final battle in 801 AD, when they were legit getting old. Looking at these sagas now, they are surpassing Gods and opponents from other universes. They eventually will pass even Whis himself and make the Grand Priest shook.

I agree hes a competitor but he still carrying that chip on his shoulder cuz goku v vegeta 1 vegeta was beating him if it wasnt for kaioken so he felt cheated. Goku vegeta 2 goku had trained in otherworld and was holding his power back so AGAIN goku with his cheating ass techniques. That's why vegeta going to yardrat is a BIG deal cuz the man is saying fukk it... put my PRIDE to the side and learn some techs so they cant fukk with me cuz strength ain't enough.
