They doing my man Toyotaro so dirty out here right now. Dude drew a pic of Goku based off of Captain America for a non canon cover piece for Jump magazine, and now people are acting like dude didn't do 36 chapters with like 6 nice and unique covers for Dragon Ball Super.
This isn't like when Gene Simmons son copied everything from the Bleach manga for his work, I think the Toyotaro pic was legit inspired, and it didn't sink well for people like he thought it would.

During their first fight he admitted that Goku was stronger than him and that he would have to transform to beat him
During their second official fight Goku was basically humoring Vegeta and directly holding back. Vegeta was even mad about it during the Boo fight.
And PLEASE lets never forget

Being stronger doesn't equal a victory. Goku after using King Kai Fist x4 could not beat Vegeta. He was more hurt than Vegeta after that beam struggle. Even Yajirobe had Kakarot screaming like a bytch with the slightest touch.

Goku himself needed to transform (kaioken) to beat Vegeta in there first fight. Base 2 base Vegeta was his superior.
Goku actually caught more L's in Super than Vegeta did. He got beat by Goku Black 3 times, while Vegeta:

because of all the awesome transformations. If its based around fighting I'm all for it.

My biggest problems with Super was the inconsistent power scaling especially when it came to injuries and stamina, and the ending to the Black arc. I can't believe how much they botched that. Coulda been a top 3 arc

I see what you mean. Future Trunks is my favorite character but SSJ Rage didn't make any damn sense, neither did that Spirit Sword.
