As impressive as this moment is, a lot of people don't realize that the tri-beam isn't based on the user's power level. It's insanely strong no matter who's using it, but the catch is that it drains the user's life force. Even Android 16 couldn't budge Cell with his attacks, and he was way more powerful than any of the humans.

Krillin is underrated, tbh. Dude held it down during the Saiyan/Namek sagas. Krillin caught more bodies than Piccolo and Tien combined with a single attack during the Saiyan fight, and he got several clutch moments on Namek.



According to Toriyama, Krillin is the most powerful earthling, but I'll admit that Tien had the more impressive feats post-Namek, and realistically, he probably should be stronger.

Speaking of women who fight, there is No. 18.

Toriyama:
Ah, that’s right. No. 18 becomes Kuririn’s wife in the end.

Nozawa:
Ah, I was surprised at that, too! All the voice actors wondered, “Why did she choose Kuririn?” (laughs)

Kuririn was originally supposed to be just a minor role, so to have him become Goku’s best friend in the blink of an eye…

Toriyama:
You’re right, he is the strongest among the Earthlings. But in spite of that, he tends to end up in a bad way, so I thought, “once in a while, I have to let him be happy,” and had him get married. (laughs)

Tien was canonically stronger in the OG Dragonball through the Saiyan Saga, until Krillin got his potential unlocked by the Namekian Elder. The guidebooks consider Tien an earthling, btw.
