No its not. It has not been stated to be “cannon” by anybody who owns or involved with dragonball except the fans.

The fandom assumes since toriyama was heavily involved, daima =cannon. But its not. Its actually too many retcons to even consider this cannon anyway. Idk why you guys want to die on this hill.

All this stuff happens before super but Goku just happnens to go super saiyan 4, yet he never mentions this transformation ever. Vegeta never transforms to super saiyan 3 ever, yet we see goku do it multiple times in super despite it being a lesser transformation. The demon realm stuff never gets mentioned ever.
