so are you saying this is just one of them mobile friendly games in truth? :ohhh:
no im saying that after 6ish hours

^was very accurate

but the combat, when it shines especially, is honestly kinda held back by the fact that your teammates are just turrets with assorted sauce. the gameplay actually has enough going for it that its safe to say that it's actually missing additional dynamics imo. when leaks were talking about this game's development and were discussing MP, like..... its clear to see that the foundation for it is there.

and if the effort instead got nipped to prop up THIS kind of writing and dialogue? they better hope the sales numbers come through :francis:

Im having a lot of fun with it but im also not really a long time dragon age fan so i dont really have any expectations.

Stellar blade is also fun as hell with a poopy story.

Should i play the previous dragon age game before starting this?

Nah, the intro will get you hyped. You’ll look at all the different areas on the strategy map, you’ll start running around the plains, you’ll grind, you’ll start managing the inquisition thinking you’re actually making some big moves….

Then, the hype will wear off and you’ll be pissed that run run so slow, and that shyt is gonna turn into a slog. You’ll start traversing the area maps by repeatedly hopping as if it makes you move faster, but it just beats the bruh-man slow bob you do trying to get to an enemy and close the big portals.

The mirror puzzles get mind-numbing, inquisition management becomes a chore, you’ll play it for a week or two then put it down for months. You’ll feel the lore hype again, because fukk Solas, then rinse and repeat.

So far “Veil” feels a lot fresher, looser, and the story darkness is still there. There just a lot more sun, friends, and frienemies.

THE LORE DROPS I JUST GOT :damn:

I wanted the origin of the blight to always be a mystery... but I'm actually completely satisfied with the answer we got.
