The narrative seems kind of shyt from reviews. Doesn't have the same look or feel of Inquisition. Combat system looks good, and visually the environments are A+.

The dialogue sounds garbage though. Like it's a play being hosted on tik-tok. The characters also do have that cartoonist look. Not saying Inquisition was some hardcore shyt, but this is a weird design choice.

Inquisition was my first Dragon Age game and I played it a ton. Even have both DLCs. Some of what I heard from the reviews and saw onscreen make this look like a different game just with a Dragon Age skin. I'll probably wait 2 months or so and catch player reviews before buying. Looks like it has potential but won't be a memorable title, at least not in a good way.

Damn I watched a few videos and the hate and nitpicking is hilarious :russ:

All this dei and woke nonsense is here to stay brehs get used to it. I’m not that invested in the series anymore and I’m copping when it’s on sale but from what I heard it’s a good game just not a “Dragon Age” game. But each entry is different so that’s whatever.

I've seen the bolded thrown around a few times as well, and I'm not entirely sure what they mean about that. All three games play differently enough that opinions vary wildly over each game. High key, if people haven't pieced together that this actually more of a loose anthology series than it is a series of direct sequels, I don't know what to tell them. :mjlol:

Each Dragon Age game is different from the other one

Every Dragon Age after Origins isn’t as dark as the first

Each one has a different feel each one plays differently

What is exactly a Dragon Age game supposed to feel like

People say this about everything these days and if its not a *insert game IP* its a safe sequel that doesnt do anything ambitious

I just bought it on Steam.

I've been debating between it and Metaphor in terms of the time investment. I'm going to give Bioware one last chance. I'm someone that bought a new console to play ME:A when my PC couldn't run it at the time... off the strength of that, I hit buy.

Should I have gotten Metaphor instead? :lupe: I have immediate buyer's remorse and the game ain't dropped yet. How's our faith in the product lookin, brehs?
