Dillon Brooks is a good NBA player and a top perimeter defender.

Bol Bol is a chucker, low motor, and has decent stats on a bad team player. Not close to comparable.

And let's say Brooks is a bum. NBA teams were willing to give Brooks a bag over trading for Bol Bol. That should tell you how low Bol Bol is rated.

How much better have players that got drafted before him like Cam Reddish, Jarret Culver, Sekou Doumbaya, Jaxson Hayes and Romeo Langford been? He had/has a higher ceiling than all of them

Yeah he's 23 and is 7'2" with a 7'7" wingspan, he's gonna get a couple more spins on the wheel before people decide he's not NBA material. Problem is he can't even guard smallish 5s, they can just bully him. Man has to hit the weight room hard
