No, just stop. We're not doing this in defense of Diddy. Yes, the system is rigged against Black men, particularly the ones who don’t have the wealth or resources to defend themselves. And that’s why we need to be careful about who we are defending and why. The criminal justice system disproportionately harms everyday Black men, not multimillionaires like Diddy who can afford top-tier legal teams. If we try to exploit that reality to argue that someone with the power and resources of someone like Diddy is a victim of it, then we weaken the real conversations that need to be had about everyday Black men getting locked up on flimsy evidence and minor charges. That's not to say that money shields you from some of those harms, but at least in the legal system, you can leverage those resources for a top-tier defense.

As for Project 2025, you're wrong. What's being proposed for the future hasn't taken place yet. Project 2025 is a whole different beast designed to reshape federal power in ways that could dismantle hard-fought protections for civil rights and voting rights, making things even worse. This is the real issue. Everyone is talking about everything except what hew is actually being charged with. He has 3 charges. All 3 related to prostitution. Racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation of prostitutes. For the RICO they are saying diddy ran a criminal organization for sole the purposes of prostitution and distributing narcotics.

People mention arson, kidnapping, guns etc which are mentioned in the indictment.. But Diddy himself is not actually being charged with those things. They are saying he ran an organization that may have committed those acts to further the cause of prostitution and distributing narcotics. There is a reason why its worded that way. Cause diddy himself likely didnt do any of those things or they dont have evidence to tie him directly to it. If they did he would be charged for those things directly. But he only has 3 charges all related to sex tracking.

And there are not 100 of victims. Read the indictment. Page 11 explains count 2 which is the sex trafficking charge. It literally only references 1 victim who is making this accusation that they were trafficked. I'm not big on Dr Umar and this is not a defense of diddy. But if we are going to talk about it lets do it with facts and what the legal charges actually are and not emotions and gossip.

The case files will eventually become public. It's not in the interest of anybody for case files on an ongoing case to be made public before a fair trial is had

The indictment is not for providing evidence. The purpose of the indictment is to apprise the defendant of what he is accused of. Puffs attorney will receive the evidence during the discovery process later on. Umar’s lack of understanding how the criminal justice system works is very apparent here.
