London baby.

The sub-culture you follow is the biggest influence.

I’ve got cousins raised in a strong marriage in the burbs with no black people around them and they turned out hood af and I know dudes from the trenches with a degree.

It’s easier to avoid something when you’ve seen the pitfalls up close as opposed to seeing it as a movie.

Stone cold facts. Popular culture is co-opted, distribution is carefully managed - the voice of the general population is not what is pushed to the top. They want dumb hedonists and consumers, not sincere thought and out-spoken feelings on the world we live in. The pyramid scheme to keep the lower classes down, continues.

│ On so many fronts. It is profitable to keep people dumb, poor, and living on the precipice of a comfortable life. Frustration turns us to fight each other instead of fixing things in a more permanent way.

│ Our dissent is managed and accounted for.

│ │ Bread and Circus. Keep the populace complacent. Educate them enough to be useful, but ignorant enough to be harmless. These are tenants kept since the rise of empires in the Middle East, on to Rome, on to here. A direct line of thought that is mirrored and complemented with the Catholic Church. In the middle ages only 1 in 50 people could even read! They knew then that Knowledge is Power. But Power not handled correctly will turn in your hand so use Wisdom when you act.
