If he's even auditioning for it - it would actually be a pretty good role for him. 
If the show is good - it's pretty much a guaranteed 5 season run. I don't know if any wrestlers are even on that "prestige TV" wave like that. Dwayne and Dave are holding it down in the movie world. Why not try and carve a lane in TV instead?

Good for him I guess but I have no faith in him pulling off a role like Dr. Manhattan. The unintentional comedy could be worth it though
