I might be the only nikka in the world that was underwhelmed when I first heard it. Some classic tracks but outside of LA nikkaz, I found most of the 2nd half unlistenable. The Chronic is still his masterwork with nikkaz4life being a strong second.

Same producer but 2 totally different sounds. That just shows you how great Dre is.

Contender for GOAT album. This album sounds so crisp. Dre’s mastering had reached its peak. Sonically I don’t think this album can be touched. Plus Dre brought that whole futuristic g funk sound that took over the early 2000s. So glad I own this on vinyl. I can write a book about this album but I’ll just leave it at that.

I've been listening to this album recently, and still sounds fresh.
You could drop it today and it will still hit.
I remember one criticism of the album was the second half of the album wasn't as strong as the first half.
That's not true at all
