LWO FOREVER
lol @ nikkas talking out of ass...

"In August 2011, mobile phone manufacturer HTC acquired a 50.1% majority share in Beats for $309 million"

Beats Electronics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

HTC owns 50% ....

So ok:

They sell for 3.2billion

HTC = 1.6 billion
Dre / Jimmy = 1.6billion (at BEST... I don't think dre owns 25%, but whatever)

half of 1.6billion == $800million

$400mllion afer taxes

Now, the money dre will pull in just dropped from BILLIONS (lol), to $500mill after taxes, to now $400million.... Going to do more research, to see if its more like $300million

I hope they completely buy his stake of it, then he can get back to focusing on music. Also what would this mean to Interscope which is said to be Beats Records now. Steve Jobs wanted to do something major with the music industry don Doug Morris right before his death he called up Doug Morris after Universal forced him into retirement

Jimmy and Dre bought back HTC's 25% share.

Beats by Dre seeks to buy back HTC's 25% stake in the company

Jay is the Heiman Roth of the industry. He's still around cause he made all his partners money.

nikka being making his partners money since The Wrecking Cru days. Just hope he learned from dealing Alonzo, Eazy and Suge to get the paper work straight.

"That’s music to the ears of Dr. Dre, who collected $100 million pretax when handset maker HTC paid $300 million for a 51% stake in the company last year."

Cash Kings 2012: Hip-Hop's Top Earners - Forbes

Company was originally worth $600 million (they sold half for $300 mil, so that means the TOTAL was worth $600mil)

If Dre got $100 million Pretax for selling 50%, that means he owned 33% of the company from the JUMP (not half).

So now that they SOLD HALF THE COMPANY already, Dre's 33% dropped to 16.665% (but he was $100million richer, 50 mil after taxes)

So now, if they sell 100% of the company for 3.2 billion, Dre gets 16.665% of that.... Which is $533 Million

$533 million after taxes (half) = $266.5 Million

And thats not factoring in the lil change he have to pay Lawyers....

In the end, Dre's NET WORTH might Rise $50 to 100 million at best to $600million... because you have to remember his current NET WORTH has the value of beats factored in....

When its all said and done, Diddy still like...
