Yea I'm not even sure if 0 writing was involved considering the rhyme schemes.....but repeating it in your head a billion times or whatever the method is makes me no different.

I haven't physically written in decades, but what I do is still called "writing".

I would never want to use a verse that was created that same day. It's kinda like some foods that are way better after an overnight in the fridge.

"Not writing it down" is basically the same as writing, except you can edit endlessly as you say the verse to yourself again and again. You can effortlessly change the order or whatever you want. Writing it down 'freezes' it and makes it hard to rearrange.

Having a stu full of dudes voting on every bar is wack. Pinching in one line at a time is wack. You need to know your rhyme well enough to say it. Even if you do write it down first, memorize it ya bum.

A lot of them are that’s why doubling vocals is almost dead. They can’t keep up with the main vocal cause they keep repeat what they said. Thats why you hear them saying just random sht as backgrounds.

I played GTA V and he has a EP on there and the lyrics feel weird.

They aren't wack. But, just overproduced and unnatural. Like you can hear it.

The GTA joint was madly overproduced and almost robotic. No soul to those tracks, at all. I tried getting into them, but couldn't.

Dre has his own process and I can respect that. But to have someone else follow in your process and get away from sitting and penning, is wack. True MC's know how good it feels to pick up a pen and actually write something dope. That's one of the basics of being an MC and actually crafting your own voice. If people are being encouraged to get away from that, we're starting to take away from the important aspects of being unique as an artist and that's never cool.

I've seen plenty of Erick Sermon interviews, he is one of the greatest producers of all time. It seems like he often gets overly excited while explaining some shyt that doesn't really make sense.
I don't see or hear the positives in the Dr. Dre "writing" process.
