overrated, better than AFTERMATH VOL 1. DRE needs special artists to play off. He didn't have have a special new crop of talent like his last two albums and this is the end result

negatives are marsha abrose ( i like her normally just not on this project), the one or two times i think i heard autotune, it wasnt much but still and dre fast rappin didnt work for all the songs but just managed to not outdo its welcome. and of course, eminem. only rapper who gets 100 bars per verse. foh 
positives, production is a 10. i liked the new rappers on some of the songs, i dont know who they are but the two on the first track bodied that shyt. people talkin bout there no elite talent like snoop on chronic and em on 2001, brehs, that opening verse on "talk about it" is one of the most thrilling energetic shyts i heard in a minute. and when you add it to the context of the intro,
, shyt was like a cry from the ghetto man. shyt like a voice of mike brown or trayvon martin. i now that sounds crazy, but the story the intro gave, about how ghettos become ghettos, i coudnt separate the song from that context. probably the best opening to an album i evr heard. album couldnt sustain that brilliance but oh well, its still solid.
