Dr. Dre saying his work is wack is a lot different than everyone else's wack. This man didn't like Deep Cover which made Snoop one of the most anticipated artists in the game.

I guarantee you Detox had some bangers on it.......but it probably didn't have the hits or measure up to the standards he creates for himself.

I don't think Dre was very confident in the work he was doing. Eminem kinda touched on that in that I Need a Doctor joint (which ironically enough is wack as fukk). I mean the fact he let DJ Khalil produce his big "comeback" single Kush says it all

To be honest I didn't like "Kush", but wasn't horrified. When I heard " I Need A Doctor" I was reconsidering the need of Detox. I enjoyed all of the reference tracks but was nervous about the album quality. I think this is the best alliterative. A new Dre album, with Detox just being scrapped.
