ATL has probably the most Black Businesses in the Nation, the issue at had is people aren't opening businesses that put people to work. Many of the successful people are either on some I`m gonna make my American Dream Happen and Make it in the system that exists, or your Old Guard Black Elite Bourgeois who are on that . Its literally my generation and younger Gen Xers who see the big picture of self sufficient society. ATL has always had a Economic mentality but the issue at had were Blacks worked to achieve the "American Dream" opposed to building fully self sufficient communities. ATL has a majority black Police force, Majority black Govt, Black run Private Universities, Black run Charter Schools, etc.

Yeah I hope in the next decade or two the younger folks ideology starts taking over and ATL becomes a true black mecca. All y'all really need is for some heads to get together and get manufacturing poppin and that would spur everything.

not sure honestly because so many blacks are in a position where they feel they "made it" people are comfortable and think we are already the blueprint, as ATL is a city too black for the Blatant racism, almost like how you have Entertainers who think they beat the system because they are rich but in reality they are getting a "pass" because they make their owners/companies even more money.

I ask nikkas everyday... If you could make 500k a year, what type of material shyt do you need to "REALLY" be happy...

Truth be told, we would get more joy out of using our dollars to edify our community as opposed to blowing it on trends...and we don't even know it......
