The DC sports medicine scene is among the worst of all time. I can't even go down the list of misdiagnosed injuries. This one takes the cake though. Shanahan probably took those MRI results and buried them with Goodell's Patriot tapes.

did they even check griffin out in the first quarter when he got up slow????...dude couldnt stand..took his helmet and i dont remember seeing a trainer or nothing look at him...then he dragged his leg back to the huddle like brandon roy..threw a touchdown and got popped again...it was all seahawks after that...

On "30 for 30 broke", the one guy was saying how they give him numbing shots all the time. So the Redskins probably just shot RG3 up until he couldn't feel his knee. He was in and out so I doubt they even checked to see if he re-aggravated it. The way they handled this should seriously be a crime. If RG3 has career ending injury he should definitely sue the NFL.
The "30 for 30" dude said that from the beginning to the end of his career he was getting his foot numb. He could never feel his foot during the game but the day after he said he was in agony.
He also said that they hand out prescription pills like its candy, with no minimum amount being enforced. He said that's why a lot of guys have pill addictions after they retire. Its crazy how reckless they are with the athletes and when they retire they end up being broke with crazy medical issues and possible pill addictions...smh.
