Which brokerage account do you go through that has a DRIP option?Verizon 4.12% yield on cost
AT&T 6.51%
Ford 6.6%
Coca Cola 3.41%
A grand could get you about 17 shares of Verizon which would pay you almost $41 back in dividends. At 24 shares of Verizon your dividend will buy you another share.
21 shares of Coke which pays $33.60 back at about 30 shares of Coke your dividend will buy you another share.
15-16 shares of AT&T will pay $30.60 which is about enough to buy another share. Same with Ford. 16 shares buys you another share.
Your $1000 will get you 109 shares of Ford which pays $65 which buys you 5 more shares.
You reinvest the dividends to buy more stocks while you buy more yourself. It snowballs from there.
I own all the stocks I listed simply for the dividends they pay. They're all long standing companies who typically maintain enough cashflow to maintain the dividend but Ford and AT&T would be the most troubled of that group to me.
Chase You Invest and Fidelity have DRIP. When I need a real brokerage account I use Fidelity. When I just want a cheap option I use Chase You Invest with it's 100 free trades a year if your account is over $15,000.Which brokerage account do you go through that has a DRIP option?
Right now I’m using Robinhood, which is all right but I have to manually transfer dividend payouts. Would rather them automatically buy of w/e stock they payed out from

I ain't buying shyt if it ain't dividend.
Also, when you get that dividend payment, how do you transfer it as liquid cash?
Usually goes to your account and you transfer it from there. There's a way to get a physical check too the same way there's a way to still get a paper stock certificate.
