That's not a down and out stock. They're doing well and on the up and up.
This stock is like a Tesla stock. You have to catch it on one of his deep dips. Then by and get your 30 to 40% and get out and then ride that wave again

Not Alibaba. It climbed up until Jan 18 and had a bit of a decline until the stock market itself dipped and has been going back up ever since. Tesla is very volatile. Alibaba is mostly stable.

Thoughts on Alibaba?
Alibaba is like Amazon, Facebook, and PayPal combined with all the services they offer. Their only problem is penetrating the U.S. market which I don't see happening anytime soon. Still tons of growth to be had in the stock. I tend to look at the business more than the stock price. Alibaba is worth at $250 in my opinion.

Lyft plans to raise more than $2 billion in its IPO - CNN

New York (CNN Business)Lyft has set a price range for its initial public offering, which could value the company at about $20 billion.

Lyft predicted investors would buy the stock for between $62 and $68 a share. The company expects to raise as much as $2.1 billion through the sale of stock.
The company won't sell all of its shares to the public through the offering. Lyft's co-founders — CEO Logan Green and president John Zimmer — will hold just less than half the votes among shareholders. But they'll be given a special issue of stock that grants them 20 votes for each of their shares.

Boeing? Stock down after two crashes and we don't know if they were because of the engineering of the planes.

Most plane crashes are due to human error.

I bought 5 shares. I plan to hold on to them long term though. I like the dividend. I expect they might drop a bit more. If they do I’ll at least buy 10 more shares.
