DETROIT (Do Every Thing Right Or It's Trouble)
Did Detroit have its own series of hood DVDs like NY did?
We didn’t have many that showcased local talent but we did have the infamous Street Live DVD, In The D Documentary and Rap Files Vol. 1 but we did have leased access channels on Comcast (ch. 68, 71, and 72) that let us have Tv Shows like 7 Mile to Belle Isle, Turbulence, Video Vibe, Detroit Rap Tv, etc.

Detroit always had a low budget movie market, that’s why Tubi is ages behind. Detroit been having low budget movies and documentaries since the early 90s. Rap DVDs ain’t really take off here like it did in Philly and NYC. We already had leased access TV stations for that.

I dog hoes fasho shoulda had a video as hot as that joint was

Wonder why they ain’t do it
Team Eastside came out the gate with videos and they started doing collabs with everybody so they were instantly competition. I think the very first video Team East video was with HNIC Fam or with Maserati Money.
