We have no clue how the interview went or the vision for the future.

:childplease:

the bills offense has been fine the past couple of years under chan gailey its the defense thats been atrocious, so you bring in a guy who was a offensive co-ordinator and whose defense sucked at syracuse to coach in the pros:bryan:

the bills are a joke of a franchise, i can literally see them selling the western new york ties crap, wouldnt be sucked if teh bills draft ryan nassib as well

what a joke of a franchise

this is a friggin joke, how do you hire a guy like this over lovie smith?

marrone will be fired in 2-3 years, just like gregg williams, mike mularkey, d!ck jauron and ch@n gailey

i knwo it all came down to money, lovie would have prob cost 3-4 mill, while marrone is prob getting like 1.5 mill

Let me clarify that while I am disappointed, I have an open mind. Sometimes guys who seemingly come out of no where (Mike Tomlin comes to mind) emerge as great coaches.

But I think the franchise, given what it's put its fanbase through over the last 15 years, needed to make more of a statement that reflected a commitment to winning, and that would've come from someone with some pro pedigree.

I don't know why my y'all are so mad about this. This is a great hire. Syracuse was a terrible program before he came. Su had a 10-38 record in 7 years before Marrone was hire. In the last 4 years under Marrone they went 25-25. That is a great record for Syracuse. I'm a Syracuse fan and I can tell you that he is a good coach. He also interviewed with the Browns, Eagles and Chargers.

This might make y'all fell a little better. Adam Schefter said he was the most in demand college coach. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lt97C7XNtEM&feature=youtube_gdata_player"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lt97C7XNtEM&feature=youtube_gdata_player[/ame]

We have no clue how the interview went or the vision for the future.

I don't know why I thought things would be different with Old Man Wilson (supposedly) taking his hands off this mess of a franchise, but I naively did, but nope, same ol' story. With a crop of available coaches with some pedigree, we once again hire a supposed "offensive guru" who hasn't done shyt at the pro level as a coach.

He was probably the only one they interviewed who didn't ask for some say in personnel.

We are going to go 0-for-the-decade again. 20 straight years of no playoffs for us is very much in play.

Ppl complain about retread coaches when they get one, but when a team goes for the more "unknown" guy they still complain

What's the deal
Give the guy a year or two

All these others coaches with "pedigree" all got fired or sucked in the nfl at one time

:childplease: I've never been that impressed with Marrone. I don't know what to think

Listen, It doesn't matter who is coaching the team.

If Ryan Fitzpatrick is still the QB yall will continue to be bad and this guy will eventually get fired.

Don't know why NFL fans care about who gets hired. No one knows if someone is going to be a good a coach or not.

What you do know is that if you have a great QB will have a good team( There are exceptions)
