Belly was terrible. Hype was literally pulling scenes from Nas songs and their personal street tales instead having an actual script. Nas' acting was so bad
It was basically a 90 minute Hype Williams music video but we were kids then so it still had some appeal off a few scenes. shyt was god awful though.
I've been tired of those movies but besides that Superfly remake that genre is pretty much dead. Korey was being extra though. He was better off not even bothering with it since he was just going to rant. No one was asking for this. Should have done the New Jack City review instead.
I really don't care to get bent out of shape over Belly. That's his opinion.

the problem with the review was that it wasnt a fukking review
he started grandstanding then started complainng about shyt like the some of the dialog and how nobody talks like that
im sitting there like..... nah thats how them nikkas really talk
there was just and obvious disconnect between him and east coast hardcroe rap and how them nikkas talk
belly was writtin by black people to be a gangster flick for black people staring black people, the movie was basically an independent movie, and at the time the movie was made we was getting all sorts of movies for us
it was just annoying cause belly not a good movie lol
