Martin did let a little spoiler slip. It's something that everyone knew would be in the movie but Korey had just talked around it so he should have known not to say it.

You know it's funny. Korey is the one who has a rep for being a Marvel dikk rider (and that's not totally unfair) but I think he's actually harsher on their movies overall than Martin. Martin is a true believer for real. lol

Overall, though, I feel both Korey and Martin are starting to show their age more and more when it comes to movies. They're a lot harder to please these days and so often I'll watch their reviews even for movies I haven't seen yet and be like "That feels like a bit of a nitpick, but okay."
They see so many bad movies that I can understand why they'd nitpick. It's usually things that they keep seeing repeated in certain genres. If a kids movie has a talent show they're gonna lose their shyt.
I think that just comes from reviewing movies for 20 years.
That's why I think Korey been reviewing the super trash religious movies lately. He needed a way to wind down after seeing/reviewing the same type of movies all the time

The Spoiler was great til that BS debate at the end.As a person who liked it (not tolerated it, really liked it) I saw it was tacked on and fan service, but, it was one of the better FS moments (I didn't really like the Avengers rewind that much).
I'm amazed a white woman becoming prominent has sparked debate about privilege. A white woman, brehs. And that's my problem with the character--given shyt she don't deserve.
I hated her in Civil War II.
This was a perfect time to make Scarlet Witch OP and build on all the shyt she went through and even built on introducing the X-Men.

In a movie full of fan service and callbacks, why that irked him so much when it was a callback to something he didn’t notice invalidated his argument.

I wouldn't have minded Scarlett Witch taking out Thanos at all because of what they've already established and demonstrated with her power level over the years. That + her connection with Vision could make it work
Meanwhile they've been sloppily forcing Carol in the comics for over a decade and it's bled over into the movies
I actually like the Avengers rewind a lot. Especially when the new Hulk being embarrassed by old Hulk ended up being the funniest shyt in the movie to me
