those UK chants almost made me mute my TV.
At least the UK smarks keep it contextual, they weren't just going into business for themselves like the Full Sail crowd or the Raw-After-Wrestlemania crowd do... they were just live as fukk, especially during Walter/Bate. I don't really get the issue with them.
Kind of sad though that the UK commentary team, Vic Joseph especially, still haven't bothered to learn what's goes on in British crowds and get it across to the non-UK viewers. Dude actually
apologised for the NXT UK Universe being "wacky" or something when they were singing "Don't Take Me Home" as if they were bored and going into business for themselves. There isn't a bigger compliment a UK crowd will give a show than singing that song. It's a song every England football fan knows (and can sing without losing concentration) and in a wrestling context it's just a more imaginative version of "Fight Forever".
They knew the end of the show was approaching and unlike during the ME of a 5hr WWE PPV where the crowd are just waiting for the disappointing finish so they can go to bed, they wanted to tell the wrestlers they still wanted more. Would people rather weary silence and a big sigh of relief when the pin finally came?
