Let's see. She got bread and can afford to take care of the child. She is of age. Given the fact that dude flaked it would have been dumber for her to be married to him. She would be paying child and spousal support. Them being married wouldn't have guaranteed the relationship worked regardless.

It’s a bad look and even worse experience and it, sadly, helps to reinforce the common stereotypes about black people having kids without structure in place and black men leaving families instead of staying and making it work.
