Why 2^10? ????

2 is the factor. Exponent is the number of days.

Example: I give you 500 and tell you to double it every day for two days.

500 x 2^2 = 500 X 4 = 2000

Break it down even more.

I give you 500 on day one you double it to 1000. On day two, you double 1000 to 2000.

Nah breh. At the end of day 1 you have already doubled the original penny.

$.01 x 2^1 = $.02

How do you double on the start?
Because the start is the initial term which is the money you start with. The exponent is how many days. On day one (exponent = 1) you doubled the penny to .02.

If you want. Start with Day 0. Any number raised to 0 is one. So day 0 you're left with what you begin with. The math I provided doubles the initial money on day 1.

Nothing
Nah. You start with 500 and double it on day 1. Leaving you with 1000 at the end of day 1.

500 is the initial term.
when you double you start at the base number then expand outward. if you say I start with 500 but get another 500 then technically I would have to double 1,000 on day two which drastically changes the expected end figure.

I'm standing ground on this one breh

So, gotcha, double £500 for 10 days or double blah, blah, blah

You forgot to mention WHERE and HOW to get all that money from

If you start with a penny you can't turn it into $315 in 15 days? First 15 days is easy. After is where it gets hard.
