Dude was the most swagged out character in the movie, and had so many classic lines. They never should have murked him out the way they did. Imagine Jim Kelly fighting side by side with Bruce Lee at the end

He should've had more of a role in the New York feud. Giving him dementia was a lazy writing choice, imo. I'd rather him be killed off than just fading off into obscurity in mental facilities.

Junior didn't really have much to do after the 1st season. I think the last season where he was a major factor in the criminal level was season 2 with the Richie Aprile shyt

He should have been more of a factor though. He had relationships with all of those NY guys for sure. And he barely interacted with the rest of the NJ guys after S2.

Looking back he was the only one on that whole crew with any sense.

Meanwhile the rest of the characters are like “let’s take this dangerous T Rex hatchling back to our RV like the parents aren’t going to come looking for it.
And while we’re it let’s set all of these incredibly deadly super strong dinosaurs loose because we’re protecting the animals, y’all .”

The death of the actress who played Livia Soprano definitely had a lot to do with it.

Livia and Junior had an incredible dynamic together.
