Dude was the most swagged out character in the movie, and had so many classic lines. They never should have murked him out the way they did. Imagine Jim Kelly fighting side by side with Bruce Lee at the end :banderas:
I feel cheated, y'all.

i feel like had Bruce not died so young these two would have eventually made a Rush Hour buddy cop type film in the mid to late 70s before Rush Hour was even thought of

He should've had more of a role in the New York feud. Giving him dementia was a lazy writing choice, imo. I'd rather him be killed off than just fading off into obscurity in mental facilities.

I get not liking it but how was it lazy? There was mental illness in the Sopranos line, It didn't come out of nowhere, and I'm not sure what he would have done during the NY feud besides be on house arrest

I just thought it was lazy how he wasn't involved in any of the business after his trial. He was A/B Plot status in the first few seasons, then later reduced to C Plot. I know the story was mostly centered around Tony, but still.

He was supposed to live in the original script. Instead, they had John Saxon's character live instead.....because Hollywood "wasn't ready for that"
