Are these services worth the drama? I’ve never used one
No.

I used DoorDash once when I just didn’t feel like cranking up my car on a rainy day. The place I ordered from is less than 10 miles from me and I said I’ll try it. With taxes, fees, and tip I ended up paying like 10 to 12 over what the food cost. shyt was so mid. I said never again.

I have no problems with this. Either tip or get the food yourself.

Amazing how the responsibility of earning a decent living wage has been offset onto the consumer and not the employers. :wow:

They would actually earn less if it was on the employer. A lot of retail service workers prefer tips over a set dollar amount because tips can beat that in the right establishment.

I always give a good tip when it comes to food. You don't want a pissed off driver messing with your food:whoa:

Not surprising unfortunately...try listening to Doordash's and some of these other companies' quarterly earning calls. It's amazing to hear how executives paint the picture to shareholders of how they will continue to maximize their profits...this is just one of those ways they seemingly make it happen in real life smh.
