shyt is TRASH. :scust:

I order a lot especially on the weekends if I’ve got company. I got on the wave maybe a year ago and I’ve slowly seen first the quantity of food you get drop, playing games using different food carriers with smaller compartments, etc.

Finally, the quality has gone to shyt. It’s like they’re giving you food they scrapped off someone’s plates who didn’t finish eating. Stale chips, cold food, really small quantities, and the prices have gone WAY up.

I swore it off after this week, but then I even called in an order from my favorite breakfast joint, even the takeout now is the same bullshyt small quantities that they were just peddling to DoorDash/GrubHub before :scust:

Heard an NPR radio story about how these companies are charging restaurants a big premium and now restaurants are responding by shorting the customer.

I don’t know where this is going, but it won’t be good. I don’t even want to eat at any of these restaurants anymore the quality is so low :scust:

You sound like you're new to capitalism.

U expect to get the same for the same price when the restaurant has to pay to have it delivered
And the fukked up shyt is grub hub making money of the restaurant and u
Yep. I can usually tell how rubbish the food is going to be by the speed it takes to get it delivered. Like they literally just reheat old food, wrap it up and send it off. :francis:

Funny you mention this, the day i swore off doordash I ordered what I thought was going to be a bigger, better meal from a sit-down restaurant and hopped in the shower. I was drying off and the guy was already at my door :dahell:

Aint no way my meal was made to order if it's arriving 5-10 minutes longer than it takes to DRIVE to the restaurant

Some of these apps have started adding fake restaurants to the app, when in reality it is just people cooking in some shipping container for the app only.

The former CEO of Uber is working on a new company doing just this, called CloudKitchens. Kitchens in shipping containers cooking just for the delivery apps.
